These Terms and Conditions apply to all appointments, consultations and treatments at Academy of Life Balance, Schifflände 24, 8001 Zurich. By booking an appointment – online through our booking tool, by telephone or in person – you accept these terms.
We offer kinesiology and complementary therapeutic support. These methods are intended to complement conventional medical care. They replace neither a medical examination nor medical treatment, and they do not constitute a medical diagnosis. Existing treatments and prescribed medication must be discussed exclusively with your treating physician; they must not be discontinued or altered on your own initiative because of our support.
No particular outcome is promised. We owe careful support, not a result.
An appointment becomes binding once we have confirmed it. For online bookings, confirmation is sent by email. Booking requires your name, telephone number, email address and postal address. The postal address is needed because a missed appointment is invoiced (section 5).
A session lasts 90 minutes. A non-binding introductory conversation of 15 minutes is free of charge.
A 90-minute session costs CHF 288, including consultation, treatment and follow-up discussion. The price published on our website at the time of booking applies.
We are recognised by EMR and ASCA (ZSR number R344963). Whether and to what extent your supplementary insurance covers the cost depends solely on your insurance contract. We cannot guarantee reimbursement; clarifying this is your responsibility.
A reserved appointment blocks both room and time and can rarely be filled at short notice. Therefore:
This compensation is not a treatment service and is not covered by health insurers. In justified exceptional cases – such as accident, sudden illness or a death in the family – we waive the charge.
Appointments can be rescheduled free of charge by telephone up to 24 hours beforehand.
If you arrive late, the session is shortened accordingly, as subsequent appointments could otherwise not be kept. The full session fee remains payable.
The invoice is sent after the session by email or post and is payable within 30 days. In the event of late payment, a reminder fee of CHF 20 per reminder is charged.
Safe support depends on complete and accurate information about your state of health, in particular existing conditions, medication, pregnancy and ongoing treatments. Please inform us of any changes without being asked.
We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. No liability is accepted for damage resulting from incomplete or incorrect information under section 8, nor for personal belongings brought to the practice.
We process your personal data – including sensitive health data – solely to carry out and invoice the treatment, within the framework of Swiss data protection law. Details, in particular on retention and your rights, are set out in our privacy policy. We are bound by professional confidentiality.
We may amend these terms at any time. The version in force at the time of booking applies to appointments already booked.
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, unless mandatory statutory provisions require otherwise.
