Kinesiology for Children & Youth · Zurich
Waiting months for a child psychologist?
Not necessary.
Kinesiology finds in minutes what blocks your child.
Your child can't concentrate. Or sleeps poorly. Or is suddenly afraid of school. The paediatrician says: perfectly normal. But you can see that something isn't right.
You call a child psychologist — and hear: 3 to 6 months waiting list. In Zurich sometimes even longer. Your child waits. You wait. And the problem grows.
Kinesiology is not psychotherapy — but it often finds in the very first session what weighs on your child. The muscle test bypasses opinions and shows directly where the blockage sits. Children respond particularly quickly — often just 2–3 sessions are enough.
Your child is intelligent, but the grades don't reflect it. The muscle test reveals which stress is blocking their learning — and how it can be resolved.
Fidgety, distracted, can't sit still. Before medicating, it's worth finding out what keeps the nervous system on permanent alert.
Your child knows the material — but in the exam, it's all gone. Kinesiology releases the anxiety where it sits: in the body, not the head.
Waking at night, nightmares, bedwetting. The body shows what the child cannot put into words.
Suddenly your child doesn't want to go to school anymore. Or retreats. Kinesiology gently reveals what's behind it.
Children sense everything — even what parents don't say. Kinesiology helps process the emotional burden.
Children often can't say what weighs on them. But their body can show it. The muscle test needs no words — it goes directly to where the answer lies.
Children have fewer defence mechanisms than adults. That's why they respond to kinesiology particularly directly and quickly. What takes multiple sessions with adults often shows results in children after the very first appointment.
And: We have no long waiting lists. Why? Because we don't need 20 sessions. The muscle test finds in 15 minutes what others take months to uncover. 1–3 sessions instead of months of tentative exploration — that's why we have room for your child.

From about 4 years old. For younger children, we work through a parent as surrogate — the muscle test also works by proxy.
For children up to about 10 years, a parent is usually present. For teenagers, it's often better if they come alone — depending on what feels right.
No. Kinesiology is a complementary method that can supplement psychotherapy. In many cases, however, it's sufficient to quickly resolve specific blockages — especially with learning difficulties and exam anxiety.
